NEWS February 5th 2012 Legendary Rock Interviews have done an interview with Jan, which covers subjects from the history of Vixen pretty much from the beginning to the present day. January 27th 2012 And there is now an official Vixen Facebook page, at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Vixen/266438203422093 January 24th 2012 Jan and Jenna were interviewed by Frankie Dee on The Real Radio Show recently and the interview is now available for download on their podcast. It starts at around 78 mins 30. In the interview, Jenna talks about the new album: they are in pre-production, probably going into the studio in spring, and looking to release it around the end of the year. Vixen have just started a Twitter account, at http://twitter.com/officialvixen December 29th 2011 Jenna was on The Today Show in America on Dec 28th, in connection with the "Sugar, Sugar" cookbook. Video of the appearance along with some recipes can be seen on their website. Maxine will be playing a gig on February 4th 2012 as support to Sebastian Bach, her former bandmate in Madam X! September 19th 2011 Another new interview with Roxy, this time at MoxiMusic. Share is working on music again with Bam, with their band The Lovestains. They have one song, Downtown, available to play on Reverbnation, and are going in a different direction, more in a rock / soul / blues vein. September 6th 2011 A new interview with Roxy has been posted at Eternal Terror, in their 'Blast Beast Series', talking all about drumming. August 18th 2011 Venü, an arts/culture/style magazine based in Fairfield, Connecticut, has done a feature on Janet in their July/August 2011 issue. Go to their website to read the story online; it can be found on page 56 and includes stories from Vixen's history as well as information on her current activities.

August 3rd 2011 Rock Express have posted an exclusive interview with Jenna covering the subject of her new cookbook, "Sugar, Sugar", as well as including questions about Vixen. As regards the latter, Jenna says they expect to be touring again next year and have been actively writing songs this whole time for the next album. A couple of tracks have been recorded so far, one being "a beautiful new ballad called 'I Understand' that is very melancholic but uplifting". July 10th 2011 In what is now turning out to be an annual occurrence, Janet is doing another show this summer with Scrap Metal. It is on August 5th, again at the Mohegan Sun Wolf Den, and other guests this time will include Joe Lynn Turner and John Corabi. For full details see here. February 16th 2011 'Bad Day', a straight ahead rock n' roll tune written and recorded by Gina Stile (guitar and bass), Roxy Petrucci (drums) and Deana Cook (vocals) can be listened to on YouTube. The song was engineered and mixed by Gina at Stile Studios in New York. Additionally, there is an interview on German TV which includes an acoustic version of Edge of a Broken Heart at the end. My tour dates archive is updated. November 1st 2010 A video compilation of Jenna's performance at the Seehotel Fontane show in Germany has been posted on YouTube. It includes clips of the Vixen songs Edge of a Broken Heart, Cryin', Love is a Killer and How Much Love as well as of covers of Rock and Roll and Here I Go Again.
August 1st 2010 Janet will be appearing at the Scrap Metal show at the Mohegan Sun Wolf Den, Uncasville, CT which is now on August 20th. June 5th 2010 Roxy has posted a video from the Cape Breton International Drum Festival, of her playing the song Titania by her sister Maxine. May 29th 2010 Cape Breton International Drum Festival : Video footage of Gina's band Thunderbox has been posted on YouTube.
It features excerpts of covers of songs by Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Metallica, etc. Maxine will be playing at the Sirens of Metal II festival in Detroit on August 13th. October 31st 2009 Live footage of Maxine at The Emerald Theater, Mt. Clemens, Michigan on October 22nd can be seen on YouTube : Her next show is at 'New York New York' in Chesterfield, Michigan on November 25th. October 12th 2009 Roxy is featured at www.drummagazine.com as part of Women Drummers Week. Her interview is dated for October 14th but is already online.

June 18th 2009 Roxy obviously made quite an impression at the Cape Breton Drum Festival - she will be amongst the 2010 recipients of their Legends Award! Also she will be performing there again next year. Congratulations to her! Jan has a couple of items of memorabilia - her coat from the cover of the first Vixen album, and Vixen orange logo guitar from Rev It Up - on display at an exhibit in The Henry Ford Museum in Michigan. She will be a guest of Scrap Metal (a band made up of various 80s/90s band members which often features guest vocalists) at their show on June 6th at the Mohegan Sun, Uncasville, Connecticut. May 11th 2009 Metal In My Veins can now be listened to on Maxine's myspace, and Roxy's myspace (seems to have come out with the drums sounding clearer even though it's not a different mix!) May 8th 2009 Roxy has posted : Maxine has another show (as part of a 4 band bill), on Saturday June 13th at 'New York New York' in Chesterfield, Michigan. I think it could be a double celebration on that day ;-) May 1st 2009 Jenna was interviewed today on www.angelofmetal.com. Apparently the Live in Sweden CD/DVD is still due
out sometime this year, whereas the new studio album will likely be recorded towards the end of the year for release in 2010.
April 20th 2009 Share is going to be a 'Rock Star Counselor' at the Hollywood Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp. Other artists who will be at this years event include Steven Tyler, Todd Rundgren, Duff McKagan, Bruce Kulick and many more. For more info see here. March 26th 2009 Maxine Petrucci finally has a live date! She will be playing the Token Lounge in Westland, Michigan on April 18th. As far
as I can tell, her band line-up is Jeff Whittle (Bass), Pat Deleon (Drums), and Michelle and Melissa Russo (Backing vocals) along with herself on guitar and vocals of course. March 25th 2009 Vixen are one of the featured artists for VH1's 100 Greatest One Hit Wonders of the 80's. The show
premieres on VH1 in two hour blocks from March 31 - April 3 at 10PM each night. March 19th 2009 Vixen have now confirmed that they will be playing at Rocklahoma. They are set to appear on Sunday July 12th. March 15th 2009 The official Rocklahoma website lists Vixen as being confirmed to play this year's event : January 30th 2009 Roxy will be performing at The Cape Breton International Drum Festival at the Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. This is a two day event on May 23rd and 24th, 2009.
