NEWS ARCHIVE 14 December 31st 2017 Janet will be headlining the Rock N Skull festival in Illinois next year, on Saturday, October 27th. KNAC.com have posted a review + photos of Janet's December 9th, Houston, Texas show. There is an interview with Share about her new project, Twin Flames Radio, on AXS.com. And a review of the Madam X album at Rocking in the Norselands, no. 8 on their 2017 countdown. December 22nd 2017 One more live date - June 16th at BLK Live in Scottsdale, AZ. November 15th 2017 Vixen will be playing a couple of European festivals in 2018 - Sweden Rock Festival on June 8th and Graspop Metal Meeting on June 23rd. And a Madam X album review at Power Metal.de, in German this time. November 7th 2017 Two new interviews, a long one with Janet from Fireworks magazine and one with Brittany at GuitarWorld.com. Another Madam X album review at Soil Chronicles, in French. And another Down 'n' Outz live video clip, for the song Storm. November 1st 2017 Share and Bam's new band is Twin Flames Radio. Here's a little video introducing the band, and their Facebook page. They have a campaign running on Pledge Music which allows you to pre-order the album and all sorts of other goodies.  Vixen will play at Morongo's 1st Annual Sleigh Ride Toy Run on December 10th at the Morongo Casino in Cabazon, CA, with Autograph. There are two reviews of the new Madam X album, Monstrocity, which is out now, at Sleaze Roxx and myglobalmind.com. And a video clip of a song from the Down 'n' Outz live release, Overnight Angels, on Youtube. October 25th 2017 New live dates : Reviews, for Janet's album on Devils Gate Media, and for the new Madam X album (released October 31st) on Sentinel Daily. Incidentally, Janet is a special guest on the track 'Freak Parade' on the Madam X album. And an interview with Janet at JoelGausten.com. Joe Elliott's band Down 'n' Outz, of which Share is a member, will release a live album, "The Further Live Adventures Of ...", on December 1st. I guess that's Share on the back left! New tour dates for Janet for 2018 : Roxy has posted a teaser for the upcoming Madam X album Monstrocity on Youtube. Vixen played a 'private show' at Mohegan Sun Arena with Slaughter and Autograph on October 6th, here are some pictures on Facebook. October 6th 2017 There is a new interview with Roxy talking about Madam X at MusicLifeMagazine.net. Also she says Vixen will be recording a couple of new songs with Michael Wagener for bonus tracks for the Vixen live CD. Plus an audio interview with Roxy & Share on the Power Rock Podcast. Full press release and album cover below : Legendary Detroit Hard Rockers MADAM X have signed a deal with EMP LABEL GROUP, who will release their long-awaited sophomore release MONSTROCITY on October 31st, (October 27th in EUROPE) on CD and Digital, with a limited edition vinyl release planned for November. July 20th 2017 More Janet shows - The Music Factory, Battle Creek, MI on September 1st There is a new audio interview with Janet on the Friday NI Rocks Show, including four songs from her upcoming solo album. The first solo song starts at around 18 mins (with Vixen's Hellraisers before that), and the interview/song segment continues until 56 mins. Maxine is featured on vocals and guitar on a cover of Missing Persons 'Mental Hopscotch', the first in a series of songs from her drummer Pat DeLeon's solo project. Check it out on Youtube. Vixen have been playing some different songs live recently - One Night Alone, maybe for the first time since the tour for the debut album; Big Brother, a rare unreleased song; a cover of Deep Purple's Perfect Strangers; and I Don't Need No Doctor (known for being done by WASP but also a cover, originally recorded by Ray Charles) with Share on lead vocals. Britt first became known as a member of the all-female band Jaded, and has recently been playing in the Guns n' Roses tribute band Paradise Kitty.   March 22nd 2017 Janet has 10 songs written and recorded with her husband, Justin James, ready to be unleashed as her first solo release. February 10th 2017 An interview with Vixen from Hard Rock Hell 10 has been posted on HRH TV. Madam X will be on the Monsters of Rock Cruise in 2018; that's February 11th - 16th, 2018 out of Miami. Now going under the name of VIP Aftershow, Roxy and Maxine's new project have released the lyric video for Kilmister on Youtube. January 23rd 2017 Maxine was recently interviewed on the Hair Metal Mansion Radio Show, and if you missed it the show is now available on demand at mixcloud.com. News from the interview concerns new Madam X music and Maxine & Roxy's project The Aftershow. A Madam X single will be released on February 14th, MonstroCity, which is also the title of the album. The album is now due to be released in the 1st week of May, through EMP Label Group instead of being self-released. Another track by The Aftershow also featuring Mark Slaughter on vocals, Full Metal Jacket, will be the b-side of the vinyl 12" of Kilmister.
